Another win and another shutout for Smiths Falls Bears

The Smiths Falls Bears hosted the Brockville Braves on Tuesday, Nov. 21 in Junior A Central Canadian Hockey League action.

The hard fought game ended in a 2-0 shutout for the Bears, their second shutout in less than a week.

Hunter Garlasco, no. 22, scored the first goal and only goal in the first period. The second period remained scoreless. Alex DiCarlo, no. 16, scored the second and final goal of the game in the third period.

Goalie Brad Dobson, was in the net for the full game was chosen as the first star of the game, Nick Wiencek of the Braves received the second star, and Garlasco the third.

The Smiths Falls Bears are in Kanata tonight (Nov. 23) and then return to home ice on Friday, Nov. 24 to face off against the Carleton Place Canadians on Nov. 24.
