The Bears kicked off the CCHL Winter showcase with a clash vs the Ottawa Junior Senators and what a game it was! The Bears would walk away with a 4-3 shootout win, see game recap below:

Sean James scored twice, Owen Watson added a single, Conor Ronayne netted the shootout winner, while Will McEvoy made 17-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 21-9-1-2 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to 26-5-2-1, had goals from Massimo Gentile, Zachary Losier, and Mickael Hebert, while Rorke Applebee made 41-saves in the losing effort.
