This past Thanksgiving weekend the Bears took part in the CCHL Fall Showcase. From Oct 8-10th the Bears faced off against 3 teams over the 3 day event, The Bears would go on to get 3 wins on the weekend with some great standout performances from Sean James(6 goals), Riley Thompson(5 points), Will McEvoy(2 Wins) and many more.
RECAP OF WEEKEND:
Day 1 of the CCHL Fall showcase saw the Bears matched up versus the Brockville Braves.

Sean James scored four goals, Matthew Dimaline and Garrett Joss scored singles, while Dawson Labre made 31-saves for his first career CCHL victory as Smiths Falls improved to 2-3-0-1.
Day 2 saw the Bears face off against the Rocklands Nationals in a 4pm contest.

Owen Watson scored both regulation goals and the lone goal in the shootout, while Will McEvoy made 37-saves as Smiths Falls improved their record on the season to 3-3-0-1.
Day 3 the Bears would kick things off for the final day of the showcase with a 12:30pm matchup versus the Hawkesbury Hawks.

Sean James scored twice, Riley Thompson and Alec Hamady also scored, while Will McEvoy made 24-saves as Smiths Falls went a perfect 3-0 in the showcase to improve to 4-3-0-1 on the season.
