SMITHS FALLS, ON – The Smiths Falls Bears are officially back in postseason mode. After a dominant regular season that saw the club finish second overall in the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), the Bears are set to kick off their quest for the Bogart Cup this Friday night at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre.
The best-of-seven quarter-final series features a high-stakes “County Road 29” showdown against the seventh-seeded Brockville Braves. The Bears enter the series as the heavy favorites after sweeping the regular-season series against Brockville, outscoring their rivals 26–7 over five meetings.
