This past weekend the Bears had a home and home series of games against the Kanata Lasers. The Bears were able to take both wins with a score of 5 to 2 on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday, the Bears travelled to Kanata for the first game. At the end of the first period the Bears and Lasers were tied 1-1 with a Bears goal from Anderson. After the second period, the Bears led 3-2 with goals added by Shankar and B.Coltart. Final, Bears come out with a 5-2 win with goals added by Leeson and Larabie.
On Friday, the Bears hosted the Kanata Lasers at home. At the end of the first period, the Bears and Lasers were tied 0-0. After the second period, Bears score 3 goals, Anderson with 2 and Cuffley 1, and lead 3-2. Final, Bears score 2 more goals to the win 5-2. Goals scored in the third period by Warywoda and Russett.
