Dobson’s 2nd Consecutive Shutout Leads Bears Past Brockville 2-0

The Bears and their goalie, Brad Dobson are on quite a roll. The Bears defeated Brockville Tuesday night 2-0  to run their record to 5-1-1-0 in November. The shutout is Dobson’s 2nd consecutive and 3rd of the season.  The Moose Factory native has not given up a goal in the last 169 minutes and 48 seconds of play.

Smiths Falls opened the scoring in the 1st period when Hunter Garlasco  scored his 3rd of the season on the powerplay at 13:18 with  Mitchell Larabie drawing the assist.

The score remained 1-0 until Alex DiCarlo scored his 9th of the year at 17:52 of the 3rd period on an assist from Hayden Hart.

The Bears were outshot 28-27 for the game which was played in front of a crowd of 143

Dobson was chosen the first star while Garlasco was chosen as the games 3rd star.
