Lasers Hand Bears 4-1 Defeat

In a game for 8th place in the CCHL standings the Bears stumbled and lost to the Kanata Lasers by a 4-1 score.

The 1st period was evenly played but ended with Kanata up by 2-0 and the shots were 13-12 in the Lasers favour.

The 2nd period began favourably as Kyle Dowdall scored his 6th of the year to cut the Kanata lead in half. Kanata responded with the next 2 goals to increase their lead to 4-1 even though the Bears held a commanding 16-9 shot advantage.

The 3rd period was scoreless and the shots even at 10 with a final shot result of 38-32 in favour of the Bears.
