The Smiths Falls Bears are pleased to announce that 2002 born Orleans, ON native Riley Thompson has committed to NCAA University of Alaska Anchorage for the 2023-24 school year.
Thompson, who is in his second full season in the CCHL, had totalled 43 points (20G, 23A) in 36 games of action this season. In 94 career regular season and playoff games between the Bears and Pembroke Lumber Kings, Thompson has totalled 81 points (40G, 41A).
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Thompson spent 1 season in the EOJHL, and 1 season in HEO U18 AAA with Carleton Place.
He came up through the Gloucester Rangers AA Minor Hockey program.
