SMITHS FALLS BEARS DOMINATE CCHL ALL-STAR AND PROSPECT SELECTIONS

SMITHS FALLS, ON – The Smiths Falls Bears organization is proud to announce that nine players have been selected to represent the club at this year’s Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) All-Star and Prospects events.

Following a season defined by individual growth and team success, the Bears will be well-represented across both showcases, highlighting the deep pool of veteran leadership and emerging young talent currently developing in Smiths Falls.


CCHL All-Star Selections

Six Bears have been named to the All-Star roster, including several league-leading scorers and defensive anchors:

  • Tyson Parker (Forward)

  • Luka Benoit (Forward)

  • Jackson Heron (Forward)

  • DJ Ott (Defense)

  • Davis Hails (Defense)

  • Nicholas Larkin (Defense)

Leading the group is Tyson Parker, who currently ranks fourth in league scoring with 46 points in 31 games. He is joined by fellow offensive catalysts Benoit and Heron, along with the defensive trio of Hails, Ott and Larkin, all of whom have been instrumental in the Bears’ defensive reliability this season.


CCHL Prospect Selections

In addition to the veteran All-Star nods, three Bears have been recognized as top league prospects, slated to participate in the Prospects showcase:

  • Logan Heideman

  • Carter Beauchesne

  • Kade Hockenhull

These selections underscore the organization’s commitment to recruiting and nurturing high-ceiling talent capable of making an immediate impact at the Junior A level.
