The Bears crushed the Grads 5-1

The Smiths Falls Bears' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 38 shots throughout the game. The Smiths Falls Bears took the lead late in the first on a goal from Tate Leeson and never looked back.

Tate Leeson chipped in with 2 goals and Theo Todd delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

During the first, Todd opened the scoring for the Bears with a goal at 7:48 with helpers from teammates Gervais and Russett. Leeson deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:14 with an assist from Richardson.

In the second, Searles finally put Navan on the board with a goal at 0:57 with helpers from his linemates, Bygrave and Moise. Leeson quickly followed with a goal at 2:38 with assists from his linemates, Todd and Larabie. Richardson netted a goal at 6:09 with helpers from his linemates, Russett and Dicarlo.

In the third, Russett scored a goal at 5:25 with assists from Gervais and Todd.

The Bears’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Dobson as he stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. Dobson’s counterpart, Carter, also had a big night, managing to stop 33 of 38, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Smiths Falls Bears’ record to (4-6-1-2).
