The Bears crushed the Grads 5-2

The Smiths Falls Bears' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 49 shots throughout the game. The Smiths Falls Bears took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Christophe Bohemier.

Mitchell Larabie contributed with 2 goals and Marc Shannon chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Larabie opened the scoring for the Bears with a goal at 5:07. Cianci answered for Navan with a goal at 13:01 with helpers from his linemates, Murray and Pickering.

In the second, Dicarlo answered for Smiths Falls with a goal at 4:29 with assists from Humberstone and Larose. Bohemier deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:56 with helpers from his linemates, Lalonde and Shannon.

During the third period, Larabie scored a goal at 3:02 with assists from his linemates, Larose and Dicarlo. Way ‘a’quickly followed with a goal at 3:32 with helpers from his linemates, Chartrand and Reynolds. Shannon answered for the Bears with a goal at 18:56.

Smiths Falls’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Renaud as he stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced. Renaud’s counterpart, Kitchen, also had a big night, managing to stop 44 of 48, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Smiths Falls Bears’ record to (4-4-0-0).
