The Bears crushed the Lasers 5-1

The Smiths Falls Bears' offense had a big night, peppering the Kanata Lasers with 33 shots throughout the game. The Smiths Falls Bears took the lead early in the second on a goal from Bruce Coltart.

Alex Dicarlo chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Joey Warywoda contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Dicarlo opened the scoring for the Bears with a goal at 4:04 with helpers from teammates Todd and Coltart.

In the second, Coltart deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:08 with helpers from Warywoda and Todd.

During the third, Sleeth finally put Kanata on the board with a goal at 4:49 with assists from his linemates, Case and Nocita. Dicarlo quickly followed with a goal at 6:23 with assists from his linemates, Warywoda and Todd. Warywoda netted a goal at 13:23 with helpers from Dicarlo and Pilon. Bygrave deposited a goal at 17:57 with helpers from Cuffley and Larabie.

The Bears’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Dobson’s big night as he stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced. Dobson’s counterpart, Carriere, also had a big night, managing to stop 28 of 33, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Smiths Falls Bears’ record to (3-2-0-1).
