The Bears crushed the Lumber Kings 6-3

Jacob Cuffley contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Joey Warywoda had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Mason Mctavish chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Rowland opened the scoring for Pembroke with a goal at 11:56 with helpers from his teammates Mctavish and Mcgraw.

In the second, Leeson finally put the Bears on the board with a goal at 10:51 with a helper from Todd. Garneau quickly followed with a goal at 12:03 with an assist from Church. Dempsey answered for Pembroke with a goal at 15:00 with a helper from fellow Lumber Kings forward White. Warywoda answered for Smiths Falls with a goal at 19:32 with an assist from his linemate Bygrave.

In the third, Church scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:25 with a helper from Garneau. Cuffley put in a goal at 7:17 with assists from Leeson and Todd. Mctavish answered for Pembroke with a goal at 12:06 with helpers from Arseneau and Derraugh. Bygrave quickly followed with a goal at 13:02 with assists from Cuffley and Warywoda.

The Bears’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Dobson as he stopped 24 of the 27 shots he faced. On the other hand, Dobson’s counterpart, Smith, and Pembroke’s defense saw a few pucks go by allowing 6 goals in 24 shots.

This win brings the Smiths Falls Bears’ record to (2-1-0-0).
