The Bears fall to the Junior Senators 3-2

The Smiths Falls Bears' defense had a poor night, allowing the Ottawa Junior Senators 27 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the second on a goal from Ethan Manderville.

Alex Dicarlo contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Chiwetin Blacksmith chipped in with 2 assists.

In the second, Dicarlo opened the scoring for the Bears with a goal at 7:37 with helpers from Coltart and Franche. Shannon deposited a goal at 10:51 with a helper from his linemate Dicarlo. Mcgregor quickly followed with a goal at 11:41 with assists from teammates Blacksmith and Bisson. Evans put in a goal at 18:05 with helpers from his linemates, Blacksmith and Guy. Manderville quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:24 with an assist from fellow Junior Senators forward Walsh.

This loss brings the Smiths Falls Bears’ record to (8-14-2-1).
