The Bears got a little revenge as they opened their 2017-2018 season at the CCHL Showcase on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Cornwall Colts. It was Cornwall that eliminated the Bears from last seasons playoffs with a 4-1 quarter final series win.
Rookie’s Christophe Bohemier & Mitchell Larabie scored their first CCHL goals of their careers while veteran Alex DiCarlo sealed the victory with an empty netter.
Brad Dobson was solid in the Bears nets and earned his first victory.
