The Bears losing streak is over! Michael Larose’s powerplay goal at 5:51 of the 3rd period proved to be the winner. The Bears veteran now has 8 goals on the season. The teams were tied 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. March Shannon (5) had tied the game in the 2nd period. Hayden Hart (2) iced the game as the Bears were short handed and the Nationals had pulled their goalie for an extra attacker.
Shannon & Larose added an assist for 2 point games.
The Bears outshot Rockland 25-22. Brad Dobson earned the win in the Smiths Falls net.
Larose was chosen as the games first start while Shannon picked up 2nd star honours.
